Say hello to the hot mess express kitten ! Picked up these two earlier today and I’ve been working on cleaning them up all evening.

They are terribly thin, and have yucky URI’s – goopy eyes and very congested. They stank something awful and had the worst infestation of fleas I’ve ever seen. They both had baths and have had several bowls of fleas picked off them.

I’m going to get them to the vet tomorrow. For now they are safe, clean, warm, and have full bellies ❤ @whiskersnpurrs said.

The little girl is so congested, and she’s got some 💩 issues. But that hasn’t stopped her motor from working just fine ❤ @whiskersnpurrs said.

The hot messes have been seen by a vet and it’s confirmed… they’re a hot mess! But nothing that can’t be fixed.

Both have URI’s which are causing the congestion and goopy swollen eyes. They were dehydrated and because of that our little girl is constipated. She also has a fever. I’ve started meds for all their ails and I’ve updated my wish list with Fortiflora for their upset digestive systems. They should be feeling better soon 🙏🏻 @whiskersnpurrs said.

Bree & Tucker are feeling much better today. Their eyes were less goopy this morning and Bree is showing a little more pep in her step. AND they got names! It’s a good day 🙏🏻 #cowpattykittens.

I don’t have much back story on these two. They came from a farm where there were a lot of free roaming cats and sick kittens. They really stank like manure, hence their hashtag 😝 @whiskersnpurrs said.

My constipated little cow patty just took a giant 💩 the size of her head. Unfortunately she did it in the bed. But I’m just happy she’s going. Her tummy must be feeling so much better 🙏🏻 @whiskersnpurrs said.

Both babies broke 500g today. It’s hard to tell from photos but they’re terribly thin and frail for their age. You can feel every rib, and their spine and hips protrude. They’re good little eaters so I expect they’re going to get up to healthy weight quickly. Tucker gained 110 grams the past two days! 🙏🏻 @whiskersnpurrs said.

Bree is still having some 💩 issues, so she gets coconut oil treats a couple times a day to help lubricate. I also put it on her other end to soothe her irritated bottom. Poor punkin’ is really struggling with the dingleberries 😕 @whiskersnpurrs said.
