Ugh!!!! Another pregnant momma with dystocia. This little babies mom is headed to surgery right now. Momma Courtney took to this baby immediately and he will be cared for. I’ll keep you updated. @theswiftiekittens said.

One of Courtney’s babies passed away last night. While it was a surprise it wasn’t a total shock. It was the runt who had the eye infection. We were lucky to save any at all a week ago. I’m sad but Courtney is doing great. Her 2 babies are doing well and she’s taken on Belles baby as her own.

Belle is stable at the ER still. Her uterus twisted on its self snd she had bleeding. She’s in good pain meds and unfortunately, she didn’t produce any milk. So, her baby will be staying with Courtney.

One of momma Courtney’s babies had an accident this evening. I’m so upset with myself as it was human error. He’s at the ER and stable. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers for a swift recovery. @theswiftiekittens said.
We are home!!! He went right to nursing with mom. She went right to cleaning him. I feel like I can breathe again. @theswiftiekittens said.

Update on little dude. He’s stable. He lost 20grams at the ER because he wouldn’t nurse on a bottle. He’s stayed the same weight with mommas milk this afternoon. Not great but not bad. He’s mobile, well as mobile as a 2 week old kitten can be. His eyes stare into my soul and I love him so. I’ll continue to watch him closely and sleep in the room next to them tonight.

I know you want to know what happened. He fell from the kennel. I turned around for 1 moment and he fell. He has a big goose egg on his head. I am beating myself up so please don’t ask anymore. It hurts enough. @theswiftiekittens said.
Courtney loves her babies. Little dude is doing ok. He lost 20 grams at the ER and hasn’t gained it back. He’s getting 3-4 supplemental feedings a day via a tube. He nurses but just not enough milk is going in. Here’s to another sleepless night worried about him. @theswiftiekittens said.
I’d be lying if I didn’t jump for JOY when Lil Dude’s weight check showed him almost back to pre ER weight. I love him so much and I’m so happy he’s improving. I’m still supplementing him, but that’s ok with me. Check him out, bump on head and all, still a cutie. @theswiftiekittens said.
