New fosters! ❤️ kittens
These two 2 DAY old bottle babies came into the county shelter yesterday and had to be out by 430pm, but sadly nobody stepped up for them. Thankfully, the shelter had a overnight foster who took them home for the night and they were back at the shelter today looking for a rescue to help. Their deadline was 130pm and at almost 2pm when nobody seemed to have space, I caved. I am SO full right now and taking on more isn’t deal, but I couldn’t stand by and not help. PLEASE check out my Amazon wish list as I cute need another heading pad for them and a few other supplies. Thank you for always helping! ❤️ @tiny.paws.fosters said.

The kittens are 2 days old and weigh 3oz, which is good for their age. They had their first dinner and will eat again in 2 hours. In the meantime, they are snuggle up taking a cozy nap! ❤️ THANK YOU all for donating and always supporting my fosters. You all are absolutely amazing! @tiny.paws.fosters said.

We’ve had a rough 24 hours with this little one and I am hoping we are turning a corner soon. 🤞 @tiny.paws.fosters said.

Little kitten is hanging in there and eating better, but there is a large abscess on its belly from an umbilical cord infection which explains why he/she is much smaller and not gaining as much weight. We have started treatment recommended by our vet and scheduled an appointment for Monday. ❤️ @tiny.paws.fosters said.

And just like that.. there was a third bottle baby! 🙈

A fellow foster mom babysat my two kittens last night because I had plans and was unable to feed them every 2 hours, so I dropped off two kittens and picked up three. She was contacted by a good Samaritan earlier in the week who found this little kitten and was willing to give it to a rescue, so she asked me if I would take it. Of course, I said yes, because I am a sucker! This little one is a few days older than my kittens and a little bigger, but SO happy to have friends now.

I haven’t shared much recently about the three bottle babies and it’s because they have been struggling with major upset tummies. Sadly, despite meds and around the clock care, the sweet little diluted calico kitten passed away yesterday. 💔 I worked hard for hours to stabilize her, but unfortunately it was too late and her little body could not continue fighting anymore. In her last moments she was held, snuggled and loved and I find peace in knowing she didn’t pass away outside or at the shelter she came from. Yesterday was a heartbreaking day all around and unfortunately with rescue comes heartbreak. The other two kittens are doing better this morning and I am hoping things continue to improve. @tiny.paws.fosters said.

The wittle boys are doing well and seem to be finally turning a corner with their tummy issues. The grey boy is now Preston and the black and white kitten is Parker. 💙 @tiny.paws.fosters said.
