Introducing my newest litter of fosters! These 4 kittens became orphans when their stray mom was killed by a neighbors dog. Thankfully they were found and are doing great! They are all siamese and there are 2 boys and 2 girls! They’re 2 days old and are already downing 3-5 ml per feeding! No names yet, I’ll take another day or two to decide 🙂 @teenytinyfosters said.

Tiny yawn ❤️💤 since the kittens are all white, I’ve put dots on 3 of the kittens heads to tell them all apart! @teenytinyfosters said.

The 4 bottle babies are doing great! They are all slowly gaining weight and eat 5-7 ml per feeding now! Still not sure on names yet!

Rest In Peace swipe to see him a few hours before he passed away. Warning: the video may be graphic. Ash was eating very well and had been one of the more active kittens since I got them, however last evening he began to refuse food and was more lethargic. I wrapped him in a blanket on a heating disk and rubbed Karo Syrup on his gums every 3 minutes until 3:30am but he became too weak and passed away:( So many kittens are born each year and unfortunately many don’t make it. A female cat can produce an average of 3 litters in one year, and the average number of kittens in a litter is 5. In just 2 years, 1 female cat and her offspring could produce 225 cats! Please Spay and Neuter! #rip @teenytinyfosters said.

Rest In Peace baby Aspen! Aspen had a small amount of blood in her urine for two days, yesterday morning she started to become lethargic and refusing to eat. I rubbed Karo Syrup on her gums every 3 minutes and rushed her to get sub-q fluids. She held on until 6am this morning. @teenytinyfosters said.

Birch❤️ although I’m so heartbroken over Ash and Aspen passing away, it’s amazing to see Birch and Cherry continue to do so well! Hoping they will make it!

Baby purrs ❤️ Birch and Cherry started to become lethargic last night and refusing to eat. They got sub-q fluids and I rubbed Karo Syrup on their gums every 3 minutes all night. They are still hanging in there this morning, but are not doing well 🙁 I’m still keeping up with the Karo and hoping they can pull through it @teenytinyfosters said.

Cherry opening her eyes! The kittens started to improve last night, I got them a second antibiotic and stayed up feeding them little by little. They seem to be getting their energy and appetites back!

Birch and Cherry are eating more and more and are much more active than yesterday! Unfortunately one of Cherry’s front paws and one back leg have become very swollen last night 🙁

The kittens are eating more and more at every feeding. We believe Cherry has developed Vasculitis secondary to sepsis. We just went to get a 3rd antibiotic last night, hopefully the swelling goes down! @teenytinyfosters said.

Cherry is still hanging in there! Her eyes and nose are becoming more pink, I’m not sure if it’s related to her paw swelling or if she also has a cold 🙁 I also noticed Birch has a back leg beginning to swell like Cherry’s. @teenytinyfosters said.

Cherry making muffins❤️ I’m at the vet for Cherry and Birch! Unfortunately no vets I’ve spoken with have seen anything like this before, or know exactly what could be causing it. We have them on 3 antibiotics and are prescribed a fourth one to see if it might help. We were able to draw enough blood for a blood test but won’t know the results until tomorrow morning. @teenytinyfosters said.

Birch hates his tuna flavored medicine 🙂 he meows and tries to spit it out every time! The kittens made it through the night, the blood test came back that they were very anemic, we believe they have developed vasculitis secondary to having sepsis. They are still on all their antibiotics, get fluids once a day and fed every 30 minutes. @teenytinyfosters said.

Rest In Peace Cherry ❤️ So heartbroken to share that Cherry’s nose got much worse last night 🙁 she couldn’t breathe through her nose anymore which made it super difficult to feed her. She had to gasp for a breath after every drop of formula and was starting to breathe through her mouth instead. We believe she may have developed pneumonia. She passed away around 5am snuggling with Birch in between their feedings. @teenytinyfosters said.

Birch had his first laser treatment on his legs yesterday! He’s still doing good today, eating lots and very active 🙂
