New fosters kitten! I think his face kinda sums it up, don’t you think? 😩

These three are from a domestic situation. They’re not feral, just unsocialized and very scared. There’s two three month olds, a boy and a girl. And one six month old female kitten who looks a bit round in the tummy and could possibly be pregnant. There’s also a suspected pregnant one year old from the same house but she’s not with me.

It’s all pretty scary at the moment, but life is about to get a whole lot better for these guys ❤ @whiskersnpurrs said.
This is kitten Tavish, the boy. So far he seems to be the bravest of the two little ones.

Their behaviour is quite unique and new to me. Most of the unsocialized cats and kittens I foster come from outside and are feral or semi-feral. These guys were born indoors and have lived with humans, but have had little interaction. .
It’s different than feral because they aren’t just hiding; they are comfortable moving around the room when I’m present, and they will even walk close to me, use the litter box and eat in front of me. But they are totally hand shy, meaning as soon as I reach out to them they run away.

With kitten Piper (the older one) I can pet her but she is very nervous and reacts when my hand goes near her head. .
I don’t think it will take long for them to learn to trust. They’re very curious about me as you can see. And they’re really loving the foster room with all the toys and have relaxed so much already 😍 @whiskersnpurrs said.

Isn’t Whisper’s colouring gorgeous?! She would be considered a silver classic Tabby. Silver is her coat colour – black stripes on a light grey background. Classic Tabby refers to her coat pattern which is swirled (as opposed to striped, spotted or ticked) 🐱 @whiskersnpurrs said.
