Meet the new kitten kids! In honor of upcoming Halloween their names are…. Jekyll (1st pic) and Hyde (2nd pic)! ——————————————–
These guys came yesterday to #andersonanimalshelter in a transport of 40 kittens! They came from a high kill shelter in Oklahoma and are very skinny. They are two months old, very friendly, and super playful! ——————————————
If you would like to help me support these two babies, the link to my amazon wishlist is in my bio!! We really need cat litter and wet food!!!♥️ @windycityfosters said.

The most difficult thing in the world? Getting a picture of Jekyll with his eyes open!!!

Jekyll and Hyde are doing very well. Some diarrhea. The Candy kittens are almost ready for their spay/neuter surgeries. Just waiting on Lollipop, who is 1.8 pounds, to catch up to her siblings in weight!😊

If you’d like to help the kittens, please consider donating some wet food! They go through about 6 small cans a day. We are running out FAST. Link in bio!♥️ @windycityfosters said.

Do you see those adorable extra toes?? That’s right! Hyde is a polydactyl.😍

They’re back! I got an email from the shelter yesterday saying that Jekyll had gotten a cold at the shelter and asked if I could come pick him up. Of course I said yes… when I got there, they had me take both Jekyll and Hyde for precautionary measures. Technically Hyde is not showing symptoms, but he’s been exposed.🤧

I’ll have them for two weeks to recover. They are on eye cream, eye drops, and two oral medications. @windycityfosters said.

Update on kitten Jekyll and kitten Hyde: Jekyll has been doing MUCH better! When I first picked him up, he was sneezing like crazy and he had discharge from his eyes. He’s been on doxycycline and orbifloxacin for his cold and terramycin and eye drops for his eyes. Hyde never caught whatever Jekyll had and has been healthy and alert as ever! Both are still receiving treatment for a URI. I’ve also added 250 mg of l-lysine to their food twice a day.

Update on Buttons: His sneezing is still bad, but he’s on Clavamox for it. His diarrhea is getting better with i/d food, ponazuril, and panacur. He had a semi-solid poop today which is a lot better than yesterday. I’m thinking about adding l-lysine to his food too. @windycityfosters said.

kitten Jekyll and Hyde are now completely healthy! I give them their last vaccines on Thursday and then wait for our foster coordinator to find a spot at the shelter for them! @windycityfosters said.

can you see fluffy black Bear (my goofy forever cat) hiding behind him? He loves #jekyllandhyde! They’re his little minions… @windycityfosters said.

I love Hyde’s round face! It’s so different from Buttons’s face, which is long and narrow. @windycityfosters said.

Related Story > Meet Dusk and Dawn! These two kittens came into animal control last night in pretty rough condition. Wet, cold, and covered in fleas. Their two littermates didn’t make it and we weren’t sure they would even survive the ride home. (sad ending…)
