She’s going to be a tough nut to crack, but I know she’s going to be the biggest sweetheart when she realizes she’s safe. She also wanted me to let you know that she hated taking this picture, but I think the airplane ears already got the message across.✈️

I had to rush Aqua into the shelter clinic this morning. Went into the kitten room to feed them breakfast when I noticed that she had what looks like rectal prolapse, in which the rectum becomes unattached inside the body . Don’t swipe through the other pictures if you don’t want to see what that looks like. I’ll update you as soon as I know more!

Aqua update: after multiple unsuccessful attempts to massage her prolapsed rectum back in, the shelter vet decided to go forward with surgery to stitch her rectum back in. The good news? The surgery was successful! The bad news? She’ll need to be under close observation during her recovery, so I won’t be able to pick her up until the end of the week. I am glad that she’s under the best care! I just miss her is all.😕
