NEW FOSTERS: Welcome mama and her 5 kittens! It’s been a long day for this family, but they’ve settled in quickly. They spent most of the day on a plane flying from California to Oregon. The kittens were born March 30th, so they’re almost 2 weeks old. #TheLittleBirdKittens @fosteringlove.pdx said.

Meet Dove! 🕊 She’s the tiniest little kitten out of the five (scroll to photo 3 to see how small she is compared to a sharpie). Dove was born with two twisted front legs that bend inwards. She will need special care and physical therapy, but for now she’s happy and growing. @fosteringlove.pdx said.

Introducing Jay, he’s the biggest kitten out of the 5 and he’s also the only boy! Jay is double the tiniest kitten’s weight and has the cutest white mittens. @fosteringlove.pdx said.

And here’s kitten number 5, Raven! 🖤 She kind of looks like she’s grinning in this photo. Raven has the cutest whiskers, white goatee and little white mittens. @fosteringlove.pdx said.

Now that all her kittens are introduced, meet the real star of the show, Calliope! 🌟 Mama Calliope is super friendly and sweet and takes amazing care of her kittens. She is named after the Calliope Hummingbird. (swipe to see a video of her and her kittens). @fosteringlove.pdx said.
