Welcome kitten FREDDIE MERCURY to the musicians litter! This dude has some LUNGS. Freddie is the one that inspired me to name these kittens after singers because they are all THE MOST vocal kittens we have ever had and we have had some chatty babies.
Fred has a bit of separation anxiety and will cry if Geoff or I aren’t in the room with him.
It’s natural for kittens to be scared for the first few days after being taken from their environment and from their Mom. Please don’t ever take kittens without also getting Mom! She is their best chance at survival but also she is best for their overall well-being.
We don’t have a back story on these babies because we got them from a shelter. Either way, they are safe now and we will do everything in our power to keep them healthy and find them loving forever homes.
We will not be accepting adoption applications for a few more weeks and will be giving priority to people who will adopt two. I can already see a strong bond between Freddie and another sibling.
Freddie has what seems to be a lingering upper respiratory infection but it seems that it’s under control (for now). I will keep monitoring, but he’s eating well and gaining weight. He’s just very anxious, so right now it’s about soothing him.
All the babies have fleas, so they will be getting baths soon. Fleas on kittens can be very dangerous because not only do worms come from fleas, but it can also cause anemia in kittens this small because of all the blood that’s being withdrawn from their tiny bodies. @thekittensfoster said.

Is anybody out there?
I had to. 😂
Before you say anything, don’t worry, Freddie is okay. He was just hangry and needed a snacky. He got one promptly after this video was taken. 😉 @thekittensfoster said.
