After I’ve stroked their face for a bit I put a little wet food on my finger to tempt them. Having them take food from my finger is a big trust step. Obviously kitten #2 is having nothing to do with my offering!! 😭 #theTenniskittens @whiskersnpurrs said.

Kitten #3 passed the food trust test with flying colours!! He bit my finger so I just gave him the whole dish 😂 #theTenniskittens @whiskersnpurrs said.

Kittens are so resilient. These little ones were trapped on Thursday. They have lived 6-7 weeks outside with their mama with no human contact. Here they are 24 hours later eating canned food and kibble for the first time, using the litter box and allowing me to touch them 😍 @whiskersnpurrs said.

Kitten #1 is quite a bit smaller than the others…must be the runt. But he/she is the bravest of the 3 and always first to try new things. When they are a bit more comfortable being handled I will determine what sex they are and then I can name them ❤ @whiskersnpurrs said.

At least one of the kittens has been using the litter box. But cleaning up the room today I’ve discovered some presents 💩 It’s to be expected – they have been doing their business wherever they please their whole life so it will take time to learn good house habits. @whiskersnpurrs said.

OMG so this just happened!! 📣 up for kittens purrs. This is the moment we foster moms look forward to when working with feral kittens. I just didn’t expect it to happen within 48 hours 😍 @whiskersnpurrs said.

Kitten #2 is starting to relax a bit, but no purring yet. I think they are all boys, but I’m going to wait until their 4th sibling is trapped and then name them. #theTenniskittens @whiskersnpurrs said.

Kittens #1 and #2 are really coming along. They seem to enjoy it now when I pet them, but they get scared when I pick them up. Kitten #3 hates me 😭 @whiskersnpurrs said.

All 3 kittens purring!! Relaxed and enjoying my touch. I feel so bad when the feral babies cower and cringe when touched, or freeze in terror. To have them coming towards me and enjoying my affection makes my heart burst 😍❤ @whiskersnpurrs said.

Kitten #4 was finally trapped tonight! I just picked him up. He’s very scared and bewildered. Poor little dirty baby, I’ll have him fixed up in no time ❤ @whiskersnpurrs said.

The new baby is filthy! So he had a little sponge bath 😍 @whiskersnpurrs said.

This is from last night around 1am. I got the new little guy out of the trap and cleaned up, then put him with his siblings. They were super chill about it. Kitten #4 is the one at the back looking bewildered 😔 @whiskersnpurrs said.

It’s time for naming!! Now that the siblings are all together, it’s time to stop calling them by numbers 😜 My husband picked the theme…who can guess what it is? @whiskersnpurrs said.

It’s possible that baby Genie may turn out to be a boy. There’s a whole lotta fluff back there and I’m not 100% on my decision 😂 @whiskersnpurrs said.
