New foster, this is Mary Jane!
She’s 4 days old and was born on 4/20 it was only fair to match her name to the date, she’ll be a catnip queen when she grows up ☺️
I got her and her brother 2 days ago, unfortunately, her brother passed away within 1-2 hours of having them. He likely had a serious problem with his blood and a slight cleft palate also.
Mary Jane is currently being tube fed but has been active and consistently stable and seems to be getting stronger and stronger! She loves getting kisses and cuddles ♡ @teenytinyfosters said.

Wake up baby hisses from Mary Jane!
Apparently not a morning person, but her little ears started wiggling for food just by petting her teeny-tiny head ♡
She’s still being tube fed every 1 ½ – 2 hours as she still doesn’t have a strong enough latch yet, but is otherwise active, gaining weight, and remaining stable and adorable! @teenytinyfosters said.

Guess who got the munchies yesterday?! Mary Jane was so over that tube she finally latched amazingly yesterday and has been continuing to have a very strong latch ever since! She was so happy to be able to eat on her own and her little girly crossed paws are so cute while she eats ♡ ♡ ♡
Mary Jane wants all the milkies now that she’s off the tube! look at those tiny little ear wiggles!! She likes to eat until she falls asleep on the nipple every time ♡

Milkies time with some bonus biscuits and tail wiggles with Mary Jane, and the way she held on at the end with her little paw!! It’s been so amazing to see how far she’s come from needing tube feeding for almost a week to becoming such a great eater ♡ @teenytinyfosters said.

The first syringe of milkies is always the most exciting, Mary Jane had to hold on with both paws! Sound up for the suckles ♡
She is officially 2 weeks old today, and finally on #eyeballwatch! Her inner corners are barely starting to open (normally eyes open around 8-10 days old so she’s taking her time) @teenytinyfosters said.

Mary Jane’s new thing is to hold on with both paws, look at those sparkling peepers coming in more and more!!

She has also upgraded to a bottle! She’s still getting used to the change and prefers the feeling of the syringe, but should get a better latch each feeding once she realizes it’s more uninterrupted milkies at a time with a bottle ☺︎ @teenytinyfosters said.
