I’d love to officially introduce kitten River, Forest, and Flora #westcoastkittens.

I had to wait to choose names until I could get my hands on them and check out their kitten bits! We have two boys and a girl 😍

This group was born outside in the wild, here on the west coast of Canada so that’s the theme I chose. I know many of you were hoping for a spicy 🌶 theme, but that’s already been used by multiple other fosters so I wanted to do something unique. Besides, they’re not going to be spicy for long! 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m making good progress today. They all ate some food off a spoon when offered. I can’t wait to have them snuggling in my lap ❤ @whiskersnpurrs said.

If you’re wondering about my voice, I went to kitten school to learn this skill. The class was “Talking to Kittens 101”. Pretty sure some of my foster mom friends have taken the same class 😉 @whiskersnpurrs said.

River and I had a date. He’s a little closed off and carrying baggage from previous relationships. But I definitely think we’re going to see eachother again 😍 @whiskersnpurrs said.

Earlier today in my stories I called the boys chickensh*ts. I take it back. They’re being very brave and trying really hard today 😍 @whiskersnpurrs said.

I’m so proud of these three. They’re trying so hard to be domestic house kitties, and they’re so brave. I love them already ❤ @whiskersnpurrs said.

Forest is not too sure about ‘snuggling’. He says he’ll think about it and get back to me 🤷🏼‍♀️ @whiskersnpurrs said.

I can’t wait to get the west coast kitties into the foster room and really spend some quality time with them. I was in yoga teacher training all weekend so I’ve had very little time to spend with them the past few days. Which is why I haven’t been posting much. I can’t wait to have all three snuggled in my lap! ❤ @whiskersnpurrs said.

I just moved the gang into the big foster room and they’re all feeling a bit discombobulated 😳 @whiskersnpurrs said.

I have such a soft spot for black cats. They’re typically very affectionate and bond hard with their people. River is no exception. Bless his little heart for trying so hard even though he’s so scared ❤ @whiskersnpurrs said.

My not so feral babies are doing so good. They still run for their lives when I first come in the foster room, and I often find them tucked in behind the pillows. But once I’m settled quietly with them they calm down and become quite snuggly ❤ @whiskersnpurrs said.

Twinsies! Finally a photo of them together so you can see how to tell them apart. Forest is bigger overall, but Flora has a bigger moustache! 😂 @whiskersnpurrs said.

They’ve discovered the super circuit! Always a fan favourite. This toy is great because they can all play together, and it keeps them very engaged and uses so many different skills and senses 👍🏻 #westcoastkittens.
