We are calling this adventurous girl Amelia. She’s the brave one, always going first, climbing, exploring. She was the first one I saw moving around in the nest during the two weeks when I could only watch on camera. She’s a pioneer, just like Amelia Earhart ❤ @whiskersnpurrs said.

Little skunk-face baby will be call Penelope, after Penelope Pussycat (Pepe le Pew’s love interest in the Loonytoon cartoons). Her nickname will likely be Penny, which really suits her sweet personality 😍 @whiskersnpurrs said.

Our sweet little shy girl will be called Violet. There is an expression in English called ‘shrinking violet’ used to describe someone who is shy or bashful. For those two weeks when I could only see the kittens on camera, Violet was always hiding behind the blanket. I rarely saw her, which actually made me concerned that there was something wrong. But she is perfectly fine, just more quiet and shy than the others ❤ @whiskersnpurrs said.

#throwbackthursday to six days ago when I finally got to meet the babies for the first time. They were so scared and unsure, hissing at me and being very scary 😍

Mama cat is starting to settle down. She had her spay surgery and the person caring for her says she is still a bit hissy, but not lunging and spitting any more. A feral mom and tiny babies came into the same intake room and the babies were crying and mean mama was quite concerned for them. She meowed and talked to them. The trapper says she thinks Angel is the best mama ever. I agree. She was never a bad mom, she was just TOO good! @whiskersnpurrs said.

I admit that I may have a slight toe bean fetish. Maybe I’ll start a support group. Or a Fan Page 😬 @whiskersnpurrs said.
