A throwback to my first foster kitten, Kansas! I fostered her back in August 2016. She was 2.5 months old and had a cold. Kansas was one of the sweetest kittens I had ever met! The perfect first foster. @windycityfosters said.
#throwback to the kitten that marked the beginning of my foster journey. Kansas was 3 months old and had a small URI. She was the start of everything! I was 16 and convinced my parents to “try it out and see how it goes”. They ended up loving her so much that in the end they asked me if we should adopt her, but I said no because I didn’t want to foster fail on my first kitten (despite how much I loved her). If she hadn’t been as wonderful as she was, I may not have been able to continue fostering. I owe a lot to this little girl! #thebeginningofeverything #andersonanimalshelter @windycityfosters said.
t’s my 3 year #fosterversary kitten today! On July 28th, 2016 I picked up my first foster kitten from @andersonanimalshelter. Her name was kitten Kansas and she was being treated for a mild URI. I thought it was SO cool that I could take in a sick kitten and take care of her until she was ready for a home. As you can probably tell, I got addicted!
