These guys all ate really well through the night. We had a major poop-splosion this afternoon, so that was..fun. I’m excited to watch these babies grow, and I look forward to sharing the experience with you! @fostermotherofkittens said.
The incubabies are sibling suckling 😩
The two torties have gone to stay with @tomatofosterclub for my sanity, as six bottle babies can be quite a handful, especially when they are so young AND suckling on each other 🤦🏻♀️
Sibling suckling is not only pretty gross, but also incredibly dangerous for all parties involved. The sibling doing the suckling is seeking comfort, and instead they are ingesting and getting covered in the bodily fluids of the sibling they are suckling on. This can lead to major GI upset. The major concern, however, is for the sibling that is being suckled on. The unwanted suckling can lead to significant tissue damage which can be incredibly traumatizing.
The best solution is to separate the siblings right away. Typically the urge to suckle will subside within a week or two after separation, and they may be reunited once again. In the meantime, they may have supervised visits for comfort and socialization. Some choose to cover the kittens being suckled on with a “onesie”, however, I personally choose not to do this because keeping the genitals covered can lead to urine and fecal scalding, which is another horrible problem altogether.
For now, these sweeties will just have to scream at each other through the walls and snuggle their stuffies. In the end it will all be worth it for everyone involved. @fostermotherofkittens said.

Big orange is being tube fed around the clock and sure has a lot to say about it. We are dealing with a lot of diarrhea and a suspected URI. He’s hanging in there and maintaining/gaining weight at each feeding. This evening he is weighing in at 170 grams, or half a can of Campbells potato soup 🙃

Little Pudge is THINKING about opening his eyes 👀
Pudgy is also being tube fed around the clock and slowly gaining weight as well. Tonight he is weighing in at just 155 grams, or alllmost as much as a hockey puck 🏒 🙃 @fostermotherofkittens said.
