Next introducing little kitten Reishi 🍄✨ Having her first milkies with me and was extra milk drunk by the end 😂 She looks all white now but she’s actually kitten siamese with white and the coloring will come in over time! @teenytinyfosters said.

Introducing… kitten Puffball! 🍄✨ He is the biggest of the mushrooms and is siamese like his sister kitten Reishi. He already has two darker spots on his back which makes me think he’ll have very unique coloring when he grows up! @teenytinyfosters said.

Next introducing… kitten Truffle! 🍄✨ kitten Truffle is in competition with kitten Reishi for being smallest of the litter but they’re both great eaters and gaining weight steadily ☺︎ @teenytinyfosters said.

Lastly introducing… Enoki! 🍄✨
He’s the difficult one 😹 He just can’t quite get the hang of suckling on the nipple. Most babies usually take a couple feedings when I first get them to adjust to a new nipple and food before they start latching normally, Enoki is having a little extra trouble! He’ll latch for 1-2ml at a time but then does a “lazy latch”, which stops his momentum when he realizes the milk stops if he loses suction and he gets frustrated. Every couple feedings he’ll do a perfect latch and take 5mls but he’s not consistent.
I’m keeping a closer eye on him and give him an extra chance each feeding to be sure he gets as much as his siblings. He has good appetite and energy and is gaining weight each feeding so it seems to be more an issue of him getting used to it or he could just be a “lazy latcher” type of kitten which isn’t really ideal. I’m holding off on tube feeding him for now since he’s trying to get it right and seems great otherwise but I will have to tube feed if he stops gaining weight or declines in any way. @teenytinyfosters said.
