Meet kitten Homer. Our other new foster baby. He’s been tube fed for a few weeks and is struggling his congestion/breathing. We are just focusing on him getting healthy and gaining weight. Also trying to convince him to love his other kittens friends. 😹💕 @hopeful_content said.
Our sweet boy, Homer, went off to @yavapaihumane yesterday and will be up for adoption this weekend! This little guy has the heart of a true survivor. As you can see, when I got him, he was still underweight (this was after him being in critical care in the @newbornkittenrescue nursery). He was alone for a while, without any siblings and we knew we should introduce him to Belle and Elton (two other kittens). This helped him so much! The two others helped to teach him good kitten behavior and we encouraged that with lots of love and pawsitive reinforcement! 😉
Now, he is a sweet, yet funny and feisty, little boy.
Homer sounds like Darth Vader due to having inflamed nasal passageways. That may change over time, or he might always be this way, which is okay and we tell him he is just extra special. 💕 I’m so happy and proud of Homer and I know he’s going to find a home that will be so lucky to have him!! @hopeful_content said.
