Meet kitten Columbia, named after the Columbia River in Washington state. She’s pretty friendly but prefers me to keep my distance. And don’t you *dare* try to pick her up with gloves on or she’ll take a chunk out of them! @windycityfosters said.

River kittens are about 6 weeks old and got their first round of kitten shots today! We try not to give vaccinations while they’re sick, but if I do end up having to bring them into the shelter clinic for meds/fluids, it could expose them to disease. We’ve decided to go ahead and vaccinate in order to protect them from those potential diseases. I’ll be keeping a very close eye on them to make sure there are no dangerous side effects. @windycityfosters said.

Hello all! I’m finally back home and look what I found waiting for me…amazon packages full of food and toys! I want to thank @stargirl5, @sublimefelineblog, and @i_miss_my_mg for the 3 bags of @royalcaninus dry food, two diagels, two @kongcompany catnip toys, and @instinctpetfood wet and dry food! kitten Columbia is super excited about it.
