After tonight’s livestream, I decided I can’t keep calling these two beauties the “bathroom kittens”! 😝

I had a bunch of cute names lined up for Ray’s siblings (that never arrived) that went with the sunshine theme, so I’ve decided to use those and keep the hashtag going.

This is sad, I know 😢

A little bit of hardship now is going to save her from a life of suffering. She is safe, warm & dry, and has a full belly. As a tiny kitten outside her life would be a struggle. She would be susceptible to diseases, starvation, and exposure to the elements. She would be prey for eagles, and the potential for injury is high.

It doesn’t take long for kittens this age to lose their feral. I’m going to love it out of her ❤ @whiskersnpurrs said.

Dawn and I are making progress. She’s more confident around me and will walk close by, sniff my hand, and play nearby. Not so much hissing. Still no touching tho 😕 @whiskersnpurrs said.

I’m no longer concerned that there is something wrong with Soleil. Now that she’s been with me a week and I’ve had a chance to observe her closely, she’s a perfectly normal kitten in every way. She was just very underweight for her age. As she gains weight her face is looking less gaunt. She is perfection and I’m totally smitten ❤ @whiskersnpurrs said.

One of the most satisfying things I experience as a foster mom is the first time a feral baby purrs for me. There’s nothing quite like it. To know that she trusts me, she feels safe and loved, she can relax and just enjoy being a kitten. My heart is bursting ❤😍 @whiskersnpurrs said.
