Welcome new little kitten family! 🐱

I picked these guys up last night along with their mom. They were a domestic surrender so they’re all friendly and healthy. They’re six weeks old and just need to finish weaning and gain a little weight before surgery, so they won’t be here long. We have two boys and two girls.

Mama cat is very scared but friendly. She’s hiding this morning. Once she is spayed she’ll be going back to her owner ☺️ @whiskersnpurrs said.

Mama cats name is Pinn. She arrived with that name – I’m not sure what it means or where it came from. She’s still quite nervous and prefers to hide out in the cubby. But she’s very sweet and friendly 😍 @whiskersnpurrs said.

This is Alvy. He burst out of the crate on arrival and marched around the foster room like he owned the place. He’s curious and outgoing and playful, and very, very snuggly ❤ @whiskersnpurrs said.
This sweet little black beauty is Hattie. She’s tiny, but she has no trouble keeping up with her big brothers. So far she’s been a little shy with me, but not for long ❤ @whiskersnpurrs said.

We love our new @catastrophicreations climbing wall! The kittens finally figured it out and now it’s their new favourite place 😍

Originally this was going to go in the livingroom, as the cat behaviourist said that giving Mia an up high perch might help her feel safe when being bullied by Milo. But a lot has changed since spring and I felt like the system would get way more use in the foster room.

This is the Cat Mod Play configuration. It was generously donated by #catastrophicreations. I am so impressed by the quality of the structure, and their customer service was top notch. It was easy to install because the instructions they sent were stellar (no Ikea furniture frustrations here folks!)

It’s attractive AND functional. There’s many different configurations and you can add on. This would be great for any home that has indoor cats. Cats love climbing and being up high, and it adds vertical real estate to a small space. Another bonus for us Canadians – it’s available on Amazon.ca so no shipping hassles.
