Tigger update: if you’ve been following me or Shelby @fosterkittenlove then you know Tig. He was born with twisted back legs and unable to walk normally. He was brought into rescue and then Shelby, his foster mom has taken on the task to help him walk normally or as normal as he can! 😀 He’s had 3 surgeries at OSU vet school and is home! When I saw the video of him walking with his back legs correctly I cried. .
Shelby has lots of experience with his upcoming recovery because of Sonnet and Haiku @sonnet_and_haiku so I know he’s in the best place. She truly loves and cares for the special needs kittens. Hopefully, I get to visit Tig soon. . @theswiftiekittens said.

Look at Tigger walk!!! Swipe right to see how he walked before 3 surgeries on his back legs. He was more with them twisted the wrong direction. The commentary is from Shelby, so excited to see him walk for the first time, and a staff member at OSU vet school. I think it’s amazing what the rescue world can do to help the ones that need it most. . @theswiftiekittens said.

He’s doing really well. We have him exercise for about 5 minutes and then rest. As you can see he’s purring away. He’s such a great kitten! @theswiftiekittens said.

Look at those toe wiggles. Shelby and I are so happy he is moving his toes. First off, they are facing the correctly since he has surgery. Secondly, it’s just another step in the right direction in his recovery to be able to walk normally. So! HAPPY TOES! . @theswiftiekittens said.

One of Tiggers doctors explains his surgery. I find it pretty fascinating the things you can do for pets this day and age. Years ago he may not have gotten this chance or even be alive. I’m thankful this evening for advancements in veterinary medicine/surgery and for all of you who are rooting for him. THANK YOU! . @theswiftiekittens said.

Tigger is in great spirits. You can see more of his leg now which is exciting. Since he was urinating on the bandage they didn’t replace the whole thing. As you can see Tig loves his foster mom. . @theswiftiekittens said.

I’m hoping I can visit Shelby and Tigger this weekend. I just can’t wait to see his sweet face, listen to his purrs and see him walk! . @theswiftiekittens said.

Tigger has a recheck today and hopefully all is going as planned. As you can see he is still in great spirits and the happiest patients/foster/kitten. Swipe right to see more of a close up on his little leg. His next surgery is Tuesday where they will fix his knee, his knee cap doesn’t want to stay in place. . @theswiftiekittens said.

He just gets cuter everyday. I get to see this little guy on Sunday. I’m also dropping off a neurological underweight kitten that I took in at work. Shelby has so much talent with special cases, so I asked for her help. Swipe right for a video of this no named sweet @theswiftiekittens said. heart. @fosterkittenlove @fosterxkittenxlove

I got to visit with Tigger and Shelby yesterday. Tigger is full of happiness, energy and kitten fun. He is doing well and loving life. At the end of my visit I noticed a little blood at his external fixator site so we made him rest up. After I left it bled some more and Shelby got nervous. She called his surgeon and he has an appointment today. So we will see if he was too active and broke something (his pins). The good news is he’s scheduled for surgery Tuesday anyway to fix his knee, so they can fix anything else at the same time. @fosterkittenlove @fosterxkittenxlove @theswiftiekittens said.

Waiting on Tigger updates from Shelby and going through some of the videos and pictures I took last night. I had a stow away mouse toy and he loves it. @fosterkittenlove @_fosterkittenlove_ . @theswiftiekittens said.

This is a repost from Shelby, @fosterkittenlove Tiggers foster mom. If you can help that would be amazing. If you can’t then resharing is great too. Thank you. More updates coming soon. .

“This is my SOS post. Tigger is now needing surgery on BOTH legs tomorrow since he broke his external fixator. They’re taking X-rays now and are calling me later with the estimate but I was told to expect it to be between $5k and $10k. We could really use some help!!! Unfortunately, I’m still under this ridiculous ban so no new people are being shown my account at the moment. If this doesn’t lift by the 31st I’ll be switching over to @fosterxkittenxlove. Right now I am catching up on posts there so you may see some previous fosters you’ve never seen before:). If you’d like to help with Tigger’s care my PayPal is fosterkittenlove24@gmail.com, Venmo is fosterkittenlove, or his gofundme link is http://gofundme.com/help-tig-use-his-back-legs” @theswiftiekittens said.
