So I know I said no more kittens while I have the puppies, but a friend of mine found these babies outside of her work this morning. They were crying and waited for mama to return all day, but she never came. My friend finally decided to take them home and I told her I could care for them and talk to the shelter.
So here we have 3 boys and 3 girls, about two weeks old, a little dehydrated, but overall in good shape.

All 6 kittens are doing very well. The formula is giving a few of them some diarrhea, but I’m giving them pedialyte, so they should be ok.😁 @windycityfosters said.

This little girl is named Lolli after a lollipop. We’ve also got Tootsie, KitKat, Butterscotch, Buttons, and Skittles… @windycityfosters said.

The kittens have their sharp little incisors already which means they are around 3 weeks old. I am going to introduce a small litter box and hopefully they’ll start using it well by 4.5 weeks old! @windycityfosters said.

We took the kittens in to the shelter to get them registered in the system. We also picked up some panacur and clavamox for their worms. The vet expressed a concern about FeLV due to a large amount of kittens coming in positive this month. They get a blood test in a week. Hoping they are negative!🤞🏻 @windycityfosters said.
