Finally after a week I can introduce the tenth kitten – Prana. This kitten girl does not sit still long enough for me to take a photo! The only pics I have of her are when she’s sleeping 😆.

I named her very early on because she was always screaming. Prana means breath, so that’s how I remembered it was her 😂 @whiskersnpurrs said.
I recently discovered that kitten Prana has the tiniest patch of white fur on her chest. Very helpful for telling her apart from her sisters! 😍 #yogakittens🙏🏻 @whiskersnpurrs said.
kitten Prana went to the vet yesterday, but they ended up not doing her spay surgery. Because of the complications with two other girls from this litter, the vets are being very precautious. They did an X-ray of her chest and determined that her lungs looked slightly suspicious. I’m so grateful to the vets for treating our kittens with such care and attention 🙏🏻. @whiskersnpurrs said.

It was determined that kitten Shanti died of bronchopneumonia. It is most likely that she had something brewing prior to surgery but was not showing symptoms. Going under anaesthesia and having a breathing tube can cause infections to flare up, and this is what is suspected happened.

So the girls are going to wait until they’re older and bigger for surgery. Bummer, I guess they’ll have to stay with me a bit longer 🥰 #yogakittens🙏🏻 @whiskersnpurrs said.
