kitten Clove is a force to be reckoned with. We were finally able to start antibiotics today!!! She is up to 208 grams and I am so proud of her that it hurts a little bit. Look at this chunky little 240 gram lady!!! Clove has been responding very well to the antibiotics!! We are still struggling with yucky eyes, mild diarrhea, and a raw bottom, but all things considered this little peach is really starting to perk up.
I can’t tell you all how much your support means to us. It’s been a tough road, and it isn’t over yet, but I’m so proud of Clove. Your generosity has just been absolutely incredible. I really can’t thank you all enough. If you are still interested in helping us out, we are running low on syringes due to the fact that I need to use a new one each time I feed her. I’ve added some 10cc syringes to my wishlist. I’ve already got some on the way, but I can always use more!! 💕 @fostermotherofkittens said.

I have good news and bad news. Ill start with the bad. Unfortunately yesterday morning the smallest puppy (Sheldon) passed away. We suspect the URI was just too hard for his little body to fight off. This morning, Sadie started having issues breathing so i took her in right away. She will be monitored for the next few days and 🤞🏻hopefully she’ll come right back to be with her siblings and mama. @fostermotherofkittens said.
The good news is that Clove is doing great!! She is currently exploring her updgraded apartment in between her sessions in the incubator. She is continuing to gain weight, and respond well to the antibiotics.
She even felt good enough to give a new apartment tour!! 🙃

Clove has finally decided that she is interested in eating meat, so please excuse her little meatstache. She almost weighs 1 pound, now. Her favorite things are playing with her spring toy and biting my face when I’m not expecting it. 🙃😂🥰 @fostermotherofkittens said.

Clove must have overheard me say that once she hits one pound, she will get her first set of vaccines. This lady hasn’t moved from 15.3 ounces for 3 days now 🤦🏻♀️🙃

Clove finally reached one whole pound today! At seven weeks I’m usually getting ready to say goodbye to my babies. But it seems that Clove will be sticking around for a bit longer. (I’m certainly not complaining 😊)
