12 cats live in this colony and some of them are sick
UPDATE: all funds were covered!!! Thank you all! Time to snip and tip!
Hello all!
I am helping TNR a very large colony of cats in Woodstock, IL. 10-12 cats live in this colony and some of them are sick, some are pregnant, and almost all of them need to be spayed/neutered.
Each cat will cost $30-$40 to neuter and vaccinate and potentially more if they need antibiotics. If you like to sponsor the care one or multiple of these cats, we would greatly appreciate it! Please visit the link in my bio for Venmo, paypal, and a FB fundraiser. Thank you!! @themarigoldkittencrewcat said.

An update on the large cat colony in Woodstock (posted last week)…
When we went to evaluate the colony a second time, we discovered that many of the cats were hanging around the neighbor’s shed. So we got permission to venture over and check it out. This is where we discovered even more cats and more horrors inside the shed including scattered dead kittens and eight living kittens huddled together on a filthy dog bed.
Because of the circumstances and the fact that some kittens had crusty eyes, we decided to remove them from the shed. We trapped mom and their caretaker is crating the entire family in her bathroom until the kittens are old enough to be separated and prepared for adoption.
Now, for the adult cats. So far we have trapped and fixed four females and two males at @andersonhumane’s low cost clinic. As seen in the first photo, many of the cats are suffering upper respiratory infections and need to be crated for treatment. This cat is named Bob. He is at the clinic today and will be housed in a crate in my basement until he is healthy enough to return outside. @themarigoldkittencrew said.
