Welcome kitten to the club, kitten Dolly & kitten Sazerac 💕

These kitten babies were brought to us after being found drowning in a puddle 😔. Their rescuer cleaned them up, kept them warm (the most important!), and thankfully did not attempt to feed them. They’re both doing very well so far and currently our loudest incubator occupants 🥰 @tomatofosterclub said.

These two ♥️ Sazerac and Dolly have lots to say. Mostly complaints and demands. Can’t blame them they’re stars and know they deserve to be treated as such. @tomatofosterclub said.

I cannot put into words how proud I am of this little one. Five days ago Dolly was declining so quickly. She was struggling to get enough oxygen and her breathing was so labored each breath seemed to take all of the energy she had. You can see in her eyes how exhausted she was. I cried all the way home from the emergency vet knowing how difficult it would be for her tiny body to recover. Adults with fully developed immune systems struggle with pneumonia so even with treatment and supportive care her chances were slim. I knew she was tough, but she was also unbelievably tired. @tomatofosterclubkitten said.

I’m so thankful for everyone that kept Dolly in their thoughts, offered their support and expertise and donated to her care. She’s not at 100% yet, but she’s improving more every day.

kitten Dolly couldn’t be anymore perfect I don’t think. She’s another one of our miracle kitties this year – in more ways than one. This is still one of the only decent photos I have of her since her recovery because she’s always on the move with Sazerac and the gang. Knocking things over, making messes, never cleaning any of it up. Ya know all the wonderful things little kitties do. @tomatofosterclubkitten said.
