Meet Summer. She was hit by a car and has some pretty serious injuries but she doesn’t let that change her mood. She’s the sweetest kitten.
.
1st injury – damage to her brachial plexus. The brachial plexus is a group of nerves that come from the spinal cord in the neck and travel down the arm. These nerves control the muscles of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand, as well as provide feeling in the arm. So, she cannot use her left arm at all. She will loose her left arm.
.
.
2nd injury – she’s lots the tip of her tail and will need the injured part removed.
.
.
Other than that, she’s healthy, happy and sweet. I should mention she’s 8 weeks old and 1.9lbs. How she survived is nothing short of a miracle. @theswiftiekittens said.

Summer is doing really well. She’s eating, she’s going potty and purring so much.
.
.
History – she was hit by a car and had permanent nerve damage to her left front leg and part of her tail was torn off leaving an infected wound. Yesterday, she had the leg amputation, tail tip amputation and was spayed. She did amazing through the procedure and is happy on great pain meds. @theswiftiekittens said.
