New foster! 🖤

You may think this is Boo, but it’s NOT. Yesterday the county shelter asked for help with a kitten that was found at a restaurant in a car engine and since she was the same age as Boo and even looked like her I decided to take her. Boo needs a friend her age so this was a win-win! So welcome little Boo 2.0. 👻 I’ll have a proper name in a few days once I get to know her a little better. @tiny.paws.fosters said.

Little Boo is black cat with lots of grey wispy hairs and some brown fur on her back and the new kitten is almost all brown with black paws. They are absolutely adorable and starting to get along well. ❤️ @tiny.paws.fosters said.

New kitten is not feeling well today. She’s lethargic, not interested in food and has a very upset tummy. We are taking it hour by hour and hoping not to end up at the ER tonight, otherwise she’s getting checked out first thing tomorrow morning by our vet. 🤞 @tiny.paws.fosters said.

Little one made it through the night and we saw our vet this morning. Surprisingly her bloodwork looked really good, but she is as very dehydrated and still feeling crummy. She’s been started on a few meds to help with her upset belly (along with the dewormers she was already receiving), nausea and I am doing IV fluids at home. She just had some breakfast via syringe, her fluids, meds and is now resting comfortably on her cozy bed with a heating pad. ❤️

As resilient kittens are, they are also so fragile so vet care is extremely important as soon as they start declining. @tiny.paws.fosters said.

There is not much to report with the new little peanut. We are still doing IV fluids every 2-3 hours along with small syringe fed meals, keeping her warm which is very important and waiting for everything to start doing it’s thing. 🖤 @tiny.paws.fosters said.
