Introducing… kitten Quill and kitten Quintessa!! Two baby panthers 🖤
The little guy with the huge eyes is Quill and he’s about 4 weeks old – but he looks much smaller as he’s very underweight. He’s also at that awkward age where he doesn’t know what to do with a bottle but he’s also not quite sure how to eat on his own yet. So for now I’m syringe feeding him slurry. He’ll get the hang of it soon and then we’ll fatten him up in no time! Quintessa is about 5 weeks old. She has a great appetite and is just the sweetest little angel (I mean, just look at that aura of fuzz around her!) Both Quill and Quinn are nonstop purr machines and I’ve lost my heart to them already!
They’ll be kept separate from the princesses for now while we make sure all’s well but eventually they should be the perfect sized playmates for Prim and Philomena.
I’m so happy to have these black beauties here – and just in time for October and Halloween! Now to make some hats for them… any guesses as to what they’ll be? @our_fostering_tails said.
Quill was so excited when he smelled dry food for the first time that he jumped into the bowl, paws first! But for some reason, it just wasn’t as tasty as he expected it to be 🤔
This tiny but mighty man is doing so well! He was all skin and bones and huge eyes when he came to us this weekend. He weighed a mere 250 grams and when you picked him up, you could feel every single one of his fragile little ribs. But just in the last several days, he has made some good gains and he is even starting to get some small and very kissable belly pudge! @our_fostering_tails said.

Little Quill has been having some persistent tummy troubles and has lost a few ounces of weight in the last couple of days. He’s receiving different dewormers, nutritional boosts, and also subq fluids every few hours. He’s thankfully got good energy, a great appetite, and a (loud) fighting spirit! But he’s all skin and bones again and it feels like we’ve lost most of the progress he had made since coming here. I’m hoping with this current treatment, though, we’ll soon address what’s making growth so darn difficult for him and he can bounce back and catch up for good! @our_fostering_tails said.

The past few days have been pretty stressful but Little Man here would like you to know that he seems to be on the up and up! 🙏🏻 @our_fostering_tails said.
Quill is feeling very proud of himself – and rightly so! He finally hit a pound!! It took him almost 7 weeks to get there, but that’s okay. Slow progress is still progress and I have a special place in my heart for the late bloomers! You’re doing great, Mighty Man. Keep it up 👏🏻 @our_fostering_tails said.
Good morning from gorgeous Quintessa! This girl loves to love! If you are sweet talking another kitten from across the room, Quinn will come dashing over to make sure you don’t forget to give her some too! Her favorite thing is to sit on your shoulder and rub and rub and rub your face. To activate her motor, you literally just have to speak! I’m so happy Quintessa found her way here. She is the gentle heart of our band of singletons. @our_fostering_tails said.
Happy 8ish Weeks to Quintessa!!
As I type this, Quinn is lounging on my shoulder, rumbling away and, every now and then, pointing out my grammar mistakes. She is becoming quite the little conversationalist (though her talking still sounds more like croaks right now 🙊) and it’s becoming obvious that this girl’s got brains as well as beauty! @our_fostering_tails said.
