kitten Toast has finally broke 400 grams. I’m so happy with her improvement. Each day we are cautiously optimistic. She definitely has cerebellar hypoplasia though. @theswiftiekittens said.
Also Toast is doing well. Her poops are almost normal and she continues to gain weight. We are working ok building her muscle strength so she can get around better with her cerebellar hypoplasia. @theswiftiekittens said.
Just 3 panleukopenia survivors hanging out, nothing to see here. 😊 @theswiftiekittens said.

Kittens fall asleep anywhere and these 2 buddies happily passed out together. @theswiftiekittens said.
Tiny Toast came in yesterday for just not acting normal for her. She was quiet, had increased breathing and stopped eating. Her foster mom was very worried and I took X-rays. It turns out she has pneumonia. Cats show pneumonia very differently than dogs and people. There is rarely coughing. We rushed her to the ER and luckily they placed her in a nice warm incubator with oxygen. They couldn’t get an IV catheter so they placed an IO her femur. I’m on pins and needles for an update this morning. @theswiftiekittens said.

Little Toast update. She’s stable as of last night. Still very sick but eating again which is great news. It’s just so horrible that she survives panleukopenia only to get pneumonia and fight for life again. @theswiftiekittens said.
I want to see Toast all bright eyed and happy again. @theswiftiekittens said.
It is with a very heavy heart that I let you know Toast passed away this morning. She went peacefully in the arms of her wonderful foster mom, Evelyn. We are crushed and heartbroken. @theswiftiekittens said.
