This little hot mess kitten was brought to the shelter around 10 days old. She was severely emaciated, and had a botfly nestled into her face. She is healing well, and I’ve brought her home to recover.

I’m not sure what I was expecting, but I am so glad these girls seem to enjoy each others company. After ensuring these ladies were in good health and keeping them separate to monitor for any signs of illness, I finally got to introduce them today!! Don’t let the size difference between these two fool you. Medli had more of a rough start to life and is slowly gaining weight like she should be. We believe Medli is just about the same age as Monkee. She is certainly quicker on her feet, too 😂 @fostermotherofkittens said.
