Little Ritz cracker having some milkies early this morning! His latch here was a little weaker than usual and he started declining and refusing to eat the next couple feedings. I’m tube feeding him now, and he’s been getting his energy back up more and more each time! Not totally out of the woods yet considering his siblings issues the past few days but he’s 10 times better than he was doing at 5am this morning🤞🏻 @teenytinyfosters said.

Look who started latching last night! This was his first time since starting on the tube. He had just been tube fed and decided to give it a try on his own ☺︎ @teenytinyfosters said.

Ritz had a lot of ups and downs since he first started needing tube feeding. He started having bad seizures that worsened each lasting longer all night last night getting tube fed, fluids, etc, until 11am today when he died.
This time it was clearly visible he had something very wrong internally with his digestion and possibly other organs as well.
Cheez it, Keebler, and Nabisco are all very active and behaving as normal so far, hopefully they will continue to do well since they’re bigger and stronger!
Kitten season is just beginning and we’re already seeing a huge number of kittens in need of rescue. This is an important time and reminder to spay and neuter your pets if you haven’t already, TNR cats in your community, and foster cats and kittens to reduce these situations. @teenytinyfosters said.
